The computer has 6 drive bays:

  Drive cage at the front of the computer holds up to 3 user-accessible, half-height, 5.25-inch devices   
  (diskette drives, tape drives, and CD ROMs).                                                             
                                                                                                          

  Drive bracket located beneath the drive cage can hold a user-accessible, half-height, 3.5-inch diskette 
  or tape drive.                                                                                           
                                                                                                          

  Internal hard-disk drive bracket below the power supply can hold up to 2 internal IDE hard-disk drives  
  (one of which must be 1 inch high)
