Installation:

Before you begin ...

  • DO NOT install the batteries in the keyboard and mouse at this time. Installing the batteries now may disrupt radio communications later between the receiver and the keyboard and mouse.

  • DO NOT turn the computer on at this time.

    1. Connect the receiver cables to the computer. DO NOT remove the PS/2 adapter from the keyboard connector.

    2. Place the receiver at least 8 inches (20 cm) away from electrical devices. Avoid working on metalic surfaces. Attach the palm rest to the keyboard.

3. Connect monitor to computer and plug the power cords into AC outlets. When finished, turn on the monitor and computer.

NOTE: After system boot up, you must install the batteries in the keyboard and mouse within 10 minutes to take advantage of the auto-detection communication feature of these devices.

4. Install the AA batteries in the keyboard and mouse. Refer to the diagram inside each battery compartment. Make sure to remove the yellow label before installing the batteries. DO NOT put the yellow label back in the battery compartment after you have installed the batteries.

NOTE: Ensure the polarity of the batteries matches the + (positive) and – (negative) terminal markings on the battery compartment.

A red light will emit from the mouse LED once the batteries are installed properly.

  • Confirm keyboard and mouse functionality by performing simple operations such as a button/key press and cursor motion. If your keyboard and mouse are NOT working, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

The iTouch® software for the keyboard and MouseWare® software for the mouse are pre-installed in your system. Should you have to perform software re-installation, the iTouch Installation CD is included with your wireless desktop package. To install the iTouch or MouseWare software from the Installation CD, insert the CD into the CD-ROM, and the installation will start automatically. Follow the prompt to install the software.
