Connecting Analog Speaker Systems: Sound Blaster X-Fi Getting Started

You can connect analog speaker systems of up to 7.1 channels. For more information on the appropriate jacks to use, see Stereo and 4-Pole Jack Diagrams.

7.1 channel analog speakers

NOTE: When you are using 7.1 channel analog speakers with your sound card, make sure you select the 7.1 Speakers option in Entertainment Mode, Audio Creation Mode or Game Mode to experience 7.1 channel audio.

NOTE: If you want 6.1 channel audio with 7.1 channel analog speakers, select the 6.1 Speakers option in Entertainment Mode, Audio Creation Mode or Game Mode, and move your Side Left speaker to the Rear Center position.
