Dell recommends the customer review specifics about the update to determine if it applies to your system. The update contains changes that impact only certain configurations, or provides new features that may/may not apply to your environment.

Do not disconnect or power off the printer during the entire firmware upgrading process.

Download

1.Click "Download Now", to download the file.
2.When the File Download window appears, choose to save file to disk.
3.Choose the desired folder on the hard-drive to save file to and click Save. The file will be downloaded to the chosen destination folder.
4.If the Download Complete window appears, click Close.

Install

1.Ensure that your printer is turned on and connected to the computer.
2.Double-click downloaded file R205586.exe in the destination folder.
3.The firmware upgrade utility should appear automatically and start the upgrading process. Do not disconnect or power off the printer during the entire firmware upgrading process.
4.Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the firmware upgrading.
