Important Information
The utility can only be used on Axim X50v model, and only allow restoring ROM image from Windows Mobile Version 5.0 back to Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition with same language. After completing the system ROM reinstallation, there is a possibility new features of Windows Mobile 5.0 may be disabled. To backup the PIM data, Dell recommends to synchronize the PIM data to PC before reinstallation and re-synchronize to device after reinstallation. All other applications should be re-installed again on the restored system.

1. This reinstallation utility supports Windows 2000 and XP (SP1 and SP2) only. 2. Only support on Axim X50v with Windows Mobile Version 5.0. DO NOT support other Axim product. 3. Only support roll back ROM image from Windows Mobile Version 5.0 to Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition with same language. 4. ActiveSync 4.0(or later) is required to use this reinstallation utility. 5. ActiveSync 3.7.1, 3.8, or 4.0(or later) can be used after reinstallation.

Hard Drive Installation (via WinZip) with Setup.exe File for R115109.EXE
Download
1.Click Download Now, to download the file. 2.When the File Download window appears, click Save (Windows XP users will click Save) this program to disk and click OK. The Save In: window appears. 3.From the Save In: field, click the down arrow then click to select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop. 4.If the Download Complete window appears, click Close. The file icon appears on your desktop.
Install
1.Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled R115109.EXE. 2.The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or unzip to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R115109. Write down this path so the executable (I.e. Setup.exe) file can be found later. 3.The Self-Extractor window appears. 4.Click OK. 5.After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor window is still open, close it. 6.Click the Start button and then click Run. 7.Type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R115109 in the Open textbox and then click OK. 8.Follow the on-screen installation instructions.
