Dell recommends applying this update during your next scheduled update cycle. The update contains feature enhancements or changes that will help keep your system software current and compatible with other system modules (firmware, BIOS, drivers and software).
Important Information
This System Update is only for Axim X51/X51v. IT IS NOT for Axim X50/X50v systems with Windows Mobile version 5.0 upgrade.
After completing the system update, the Data Backup Application on the X51/X51v can be used to restore previous backup files from a previous operating system release.
However, there is a possibility some new features may be disabled.
Dell recommends to only backup PIM data from a previous system and restore to a new system. All other applications should be re-installed again on the new system to make sure new features are not disabled.
